$200.00La Patasola is a legend of Colombian folklore. A one legged creature which lures men into the woods disguised or transformed as an attractive women. In wanting to keep most of my art local to my community in Northern Hudson County, I placed this figure in James J Braddock Park in North Bergen, NJ. I also couldn’t help but lean into Weird NJ with the famous UFO magnet, the Stonehenge building in the background.

He represent the new wave of immigration. After the Cubans and South Americans, came the Mexicans and Central Americans. Now the botanicas have started to adapt, and next to Changó you’ll find the Santa Muerte.
